Optimising time-in-target-range assessment for blood pressure: insights from a large-scale study with continual cuffless monitoring

This study examines blood pressure (BP) time-in-target-range (TTR) as a cardiovascular risk predictor. Analysing 2.3 million readings from 5,189 European users with a cuffless BP monitor, it found that traditional measurement schedules often misclassified risk levels. Accurate TTR assessment requires continuous 24-hour monitoring over 7 days, suggesting that frequent, prolonged BP measurement is essential for effective hypertension management.
